Niaz Engineering Enterprises Ltd (Niaz Engineering) is a leading civil engineering and construction company, established in 2005, continuing the legacy of family-run enterprises founded in the 1970s. We offer comprehensive services with a proven track record across Kenya, South Sudan, and Somalia.
Our expertise spans structural, mechanical, and electrical works, as well as water, sanitation, civil infrastructure, and facilities management — with a focus on reliable delivery in remote, high-risk, and resource-constrained settings.
We have also delivered secure, mission-critical infrastructure in fragile and post-conflict zones, including reinforced concrete structures, blast-resistant facilities, and protective systems for defense and UN operations.

Our Leadership
At the heart of Niaz Engineering Enterprises Ltd is a leadership team with experience delivering complex construction projects across East Africa. Each Director brings formal engineering qualifications and a unique area of expertise, collectively shaping a leadership culture defined by technical depth, operational resilience, and a relentless commitment to quality.
With over 40 years of experience in civil engineering construction, site supervision, and infrastructure project management, Mohamed Zafar Niaz has led major infrastructure works across Kenya, South Sudan, and Somalia.
An Australian Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with cross-regional experience in infrastructure delivery across Australia and East Africa, with a focus on civil works, road and pavement construction
A Mechanical Engineer by background. Mohamed Atif contributes to the company’s overall business management through leadership in internal systems, finance, administration, and client coordination. He oversees cross-departmental workflows and long-term partnerships that support the company's continued growth and operational stability.
